The purpose of the ‘Láa Náay Justice System is to maintain peace and promote wellness by protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the Kasaan people and community by addressing problems through culturally appropriate methods and providing programs aimed at healing and wellness.

Hi! I’m LaNeice Congdon. I have lived in Kasaan, Alaska, since 2016 and love it here. I’m a wife, mother of five, and grandmother of three, as well as a dedicated Láa Náay Administrator. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and staying as active as possible.

Hello, I'm Nang K’adangáas, also known as Eric Hamar, is a dedicated member of the Haida community and a longtime resident of Kasaan, Alaska. A devoted father of two daughters, he has spent much of his career in Tribal Government, while also working as a commercial fisherman and maintaining a professional presence in the arts. Traditionally trained as a carver, he learned at a young age the important role art plays in mental and emotional well-being. Nang K’adangáas is a member of the Culture Heals Committee for CCTHITA, and he is committed to preserving and promoting Haida culture for the benefit of future generations.

Hi, I'm Erin Blair, a Victim Advocate dedicated to supporting individuals through challenging times. I provide compassionate guidance and essential resources to those affected by crime. Outside of my advocacy work, I love spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.​

Behavioral Health Specialist
Hello, I am Jason England, Community Behavioral Health Manager for OVK. I am a certified Chemical Dependency Counselor 1 and certified Peer Support Specialist through the state of Alaska. I am dedicated to helping individuals better their life through Harm Reduction and Patient Centered Care. I have over 25 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field. I am passionate about developing innovative solutions that drive success. I have lived on POW since 2014, and I am an avid outdoorsman that enjoys fishing hunting and gathering. I am available to assist with any behavioral health needs for tribal and community members.
